C Waikiki; one of the important store chains in store retailing sector approxmately hundred stores; was lighted in convenience with aesthetic, efficient and 'proper lighting' concept.

Last one of these lighting applications was realized at the Cevahir mall. As it was in all other shops, also in the Cevahir mall, lighting design was formed and applied according to the concept determined with Zirve Architecture Company which prepared architectural applications of the shops.

In order to draw attention to store and showcase, make clients pass more time in stores, for an exhibition convenient to brand image, lighting project was applied by relying on these principles in the LC Waikiki stores adopting striking store concepts. Highlighting, which was used in general lighting and movable stands, shelfs and showcase lighting, was applied for making customers' shopping pleasent, providing adjustment of light to the determined parts, having colours and products perceived correctly.

In general lighting, projected at 800 lux level, 29 8052 coded, highly efficient downlights with facetted deep reflector and clear glass were used. 29 8052 coded downlight; thanks to its reflector's technology, by providing glare control, assuring much more light efficiency when compared to reflectors of other companies, this downlight is a luminaire which makes general lighting efficient , aesthetic and of quality. By using cold white light colour compact-fluorescent lamp, approximately % 90 colour rendering was assured, besides it was rendered possible that customers can perceive product colours the closest to their colours in the sun light.
13 0064 coded recessed luminaires, which have 30º angled reflector and can be adjusted on vertical and horizontal axis, were used for shelfs and movable exposition units where goods are exposed at the store.Thus, while flexibility advantage was obtained in lighting design, a solution was offered for movable exposition units. In order to reach 1500 lux which was determined as illumination level, Metal Halide lamps in warm white colour were used. In the lighting above shelfs in order to obtain an homogenous lighting, in addition, a light band was formed with 95 136BT and 95118BT coded, band type luminaires.

Besides, for the goods at the upper shelf, while 10 0049 coded luminaires were used, Halogen lamps were chosen due to their %100 colour rendering.

13 8001 coded downlights with Metal Halide lamps were used in order to provide 2000 lux illumination level which was determined for the showcases projected according to general lighting principles.
White light colour was preferred aiming to make customers perceive correctly colours in store. By this way, besides provided visual richment, warm and comfortable store concept which was formed all over the store, was reinforced with lighting.

In the lighting application, conforming to the customer expectations and store lighting criterions, efficient, aesthetic and effective lighting was obtained. So the store concept was completed with lighting. Thanks to highly technological, qualified luminaires, and experience, expertise of lighting companies , a lighting level and quality which were worthy of LC Waikiki's brand power was formed.
